Though Kristi says she can hardly remember liking the way her hair looked, she started noticing a lot more hair loss and hair shedding as she was planning her wedding. She decided to try Viviscal women’s hair vitamins for 6 months as part of Viviscal’s Voice of the Solution program. In her initial interview with us, she shares why she needed a vitamin for hair growth:
Viviscal: If you’re seeing thinning hair or excess hair shedding, how has it affected you?
Kristi: I am completely and totally obsessed with the idea that I will lose my hair; even though it pains me to admit that.
Viviscal: Have the changes in your hair affected your personal or professional life?
Kristi: I’m getting married in less than 7 months. My fiancé recently mentioned that he was hoping I was going to wear my hair down on our wedding day. I can’t imagine how that could ever work or look right. Then again, I don’t particularly like the way my hair looks ever. I am very often the friend avoiding taking pictures or needing to retake the picture a thousand times because of my bad hair.
Viviscal: When your hair looks or feels good, how does that make you feel? Does it have an impact on your mood?
Kristi: Absolutely! Whose mood isn’t improved by a good hair day? When my hair looks good I feel sexy. Unfortunately, those days are few and far between.
Viviscal: Has anyone commented on the current condition of your hair? If so, how did that make you feel?
Kristi: My hairdresser recently told me, ‘Worrying about your thin hair is only making it look thinner.’ My first thought was, ‘Then I’m screwed, because my hair is all I can think about.’
Viviscal: Why did you decide to join the Voice of the Solution campaign? What results do you want to see after six months on Viviscal hair growth supplements?
Kristi: I want to look pretty on my wedding day. I want to wear my hair down. I want to feel sexy again.
Viviscal: Think back to a time in your life when you most liked your hair. What did you like about it?
Kristi: I can’t ever remember a time when I liked the way my hair looked.
